Special Mission Operations

Development and Operation

Special Mission aircraft are significantly modified to conduct special operations in challenging environments. Voyageur's Special Mission experience includes aircraft operation, in-service support, modification, design engineering and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development.

Voyageur's one-stop-shop capabilities include Special Mission aircraft with unique characteristics such as:

  • Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE)
  • Geophysical Survey
  • Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)
  • Search and Rescue (SAR)
  • Aeromedical / Air Ambulance
  • Combi / Cargo Operations

Design Engineering

Voyageur's in-house Design Approval Organization (DAO) authority allows for "concept-to-design" modification plans and approvals. This includes aircraft Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development and approval.

Modifications / Installations

Voyageur's in-house Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) authorities and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility allow for completion of installations and special modifications.

Aircraft Operation

Voyageur's Air Operator Certificate (AOC) authorities allow for specialized aerial work. Voyageur currently operates multiple Special Mission aircraft internationally.

In-Service Support

Worldwide line maintenance management, spares and aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support, component repair and overhaul, personnel provisioning and training.
